Most people, especially local Thai’s are incredulous when they learn there a whales residing a few Kilometers off shore from Bangkok’s mighty Chao Phraya River in the Gulf of Thailand.

But the Bryde’s Whale has found its own unique accommodation amongst the busy fishing traffic for three months of the year.

Dr Kanjana and her team from the Marine Coastal Resources Department invited The Flying Scouts to conduct aerial survey flights using our trusted HS-EAL during the annual migration of these magnificent creatures.

We use HS-EAL for these missions, as she can fly low and slow with the doors off, and provides excellent visibility as a viewing and camera platform.

During the Whale Survey flights we are lucky to be hosted by the generous staff from Best Ocean Airpark,
